I sought out an ADHD specialist after many years looking for a doctor who understood the nuances of the condition.Dr. Vertrees has the qualities you want in a Psychiatrist. He listens closely but will not jump to conclusions. He takes detailed notes and will often link disparate topics that I had not considered related at the time, but in hindsight I see that he was narrowing in on a root cause.We got to a better place with my medicine regiment and he is still willing to tune things or take experimental steps to find an even more optimal solution to address more peripheral symptoms.I've been happy with Dr. Vertrees's process and outcomes so far. Solid recommend.

I am very pleased that I found Dr. Vertrees after many years of not understanding myself. I feel that I have finally found a medical professional who understands me as an older adult that has managed ADHD without comprehension of the effects on my personal health and interactions with family, friends, and career. Dr. Vertrees is highly qualified. It can be difficult to find the right "fit" for this type of specialized care, and everyone is different. Dr. Vertrees is the correct fit for me after so many prior years of otherwise not finding the right connection. I strongly recommend his office.

Great Doctor

I had the displeasure of working with the doctor when he was employed by Highlands behavioral. He miss diagnosed me because he didn't bother to ask relevant questions and I haven't been able to get the right meds since. I had a girlfriend I didn't tell my mom about because I didn't trust my mom at the time (I was 20ish) So my mother and the LOVELY doc assumed I was psychotic but surprise surprise She was real. So this human trash drugged me out of my mind until I didn't know if people I had known my entire life were even real people. If you need help look elsewhere your better on your own than with this ridiculous quack.
